Dola Banerjee World Champion Woman Archer
Dola Banerjee (Born 2 June 1980, Baranagar, North 24 Parganas district, West Bengal) is an Indian sportswoman who competes in archery. She is the first Indian woman to win the World Archery Championship. She is also the first woman archer of the country to clinch an Olympic berth. Dola Banerjee is the second woman archer to be honored with the Arjuna award by the Government of India in 2005.
Deepika Kumari Gold Medal Winning Archery Champion
Deepika Kumari/Deepika Prajapati (Born on June 13, 1994 in Ranchi, Jharkhand) is a young Indian athlete who competes in the event of Archery. She won gold medal in the 2010 Commonwealth games in the women's individual recurve event. She also won gold medal in the same competition in the women's team recurve event along with Dola Banerjee and Bombayala Devi.
