Shafali Verma (Born on 28 January 2004 in Rohtak, Haryana) is an Indian cricketer. Shafali made her WT20I debut for India, against South Africa, on 24 September 2019.
In November 2019, Shafali Verma was the youngest woman to play for India in a T20I match against the West Indies. She also became the youngest woman for India to score a half-century in international cricket. Shafali scored 158 runs in five matches and was named the player of the series.
Shefali's biggest strong point is her bold nature of gameplay and could be the perfect successor to Smriti Mandhana. Shefali was named in India's squad for the 2020 ICC Women's T20 World Cup in Australia.
